During Mission Week 2024, THPSF visited Durumi and Garki Police Stations in Abuja, paying fines for 6 inmates and securing their release.

Our Mission Week 2024 included a critical outreach to police stations in Abuja, focusing on individuals detained for minor offenses who could not afford their bail or fines. This initiative is a direct response to the call to serve those in prison and uphold justice.
Through the generous support of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, we were able to facilitate the release of 6 inmates, providing them with a second chance and preventing prolonged, unjust detention.
Key Activities & Outcomes
Fines & Bail Payment
Identified inmates with minor offenses and paid their outstanding fines or bail, facilitating their immediate release.
Post-Release Support
Provided initial counseling and guidance to released individuals, connecting them with resources for reintegration and rehabilitation.
Material Aid
Distributed essential items such as food, water, and hygiene products to detainees still in custody, improving their welfare.
Advocacy & Awareness
